I agree. I am a 17 year Linux user and only use the GUI. There is one command I find essential if an upgrade gets interrupted 'sudo dpkg --configure -a' and I keep that on a cheat sheet, though it seldom happens. Windows has a terminal too, but you won't find every Windows article telling you how to use it's terminal. If your article is focused at Linux pros, they already know the command line...
