We are in the 21st century. There is this wonderful, modern invention called Graphic User Interface (GUI) that we can use to accomplish tasks. No need for arcane, byzantine, unintuitive commands that have dozens of options and are easily misspelled. "Year of the Linux desktop" will not happen untill pundits, such as yourself, quit pushing the CLI. In case you haven't noticed Windows and macOS accomplish 99.9% of their tasks using GUI. All you are doing is scaring away prospective Linux newbies. Linux "experts" and pundits are doing everything in their power to make Linux more and more Windows-like but they continue to insist on CLI as the preferred user interface. CLI has its use but NOT in day to day usage...
